Patrycja Szurmak
Specializes in the area of personal data protection and privacy, as well as the law of new technologies in the broadest sense.
She has experience in advising clients from the energy, insurance or banking industries. She has advised entities on incidents related to personal data protection, including correspondence with the Polish Data Protection Authority or further legal assistance in administrative proceedings. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked at another law firm, where she dealt with data protection law
Legal Advisor to the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. She is a graduate of law at the University of Warsaw. During her studies, she held a one-year scholarship at the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen (Universitetet i Bergen – UiB). Participant of the IP school at the Hugo Grotius Center for Intellectual Property.
Co-author of publications including “RODO. Guide with Templates and Personal Data Protection” or “Guide to the Law and RODO with Templates” edited by Maciej Gawronski.
She is fluent in English.
